Crafting in the Light: 4 weeks of
togetherness, conversation, creativity + angel love
Dear Friends,
Are you finding yourself turning to the comfort of crafting right now? Are you knitting, crocheting, coloring the pages of a coloring book, painting, or exploring other forms of creative expression? I know I am… I’ve been crocheting almost every day as a way to soothe my system.
This offering was actually inspired by conversations in one of my other groups, where many of us shared about finding solace in creative projects. Each time I mentioned my love of crocheting (especially creating prayer shawls), others would light up and share their own crafting stories. Several friends suggested we create a crafting circle together, and the angels agreed!
So here we are – a weekly gathering space where we can combine the gentle comfort of crafting with a touch of angelic presence. Think of it as joining friends around a shared table where our creative spirits can flourish while we support each other through these challenging times.
Each Tuesday at 2 pm PT, we’ll create a cozy virtual living room where kindred spirits can craft together. This space offers an antidote to loneliness – a place to find inspiration and community without the need for heavy emotional processing. Each week, we’ll:
- Open with a brief angel blessing + some inspirational angelic morsels.
- Craft together (whatever delights your soul – knitting, crochet, mandalas, painting)
- Share conversation and creative inspiration
- Find comfort in like-minded community
This won’t be a formal teaching space – I’ll be joining you as my “Earth Girl” self, crafting alongside you after sharing our opening blessing and bringing in some love from the angels.

Why Angels & Crafting?
Throughout time, people have found comfort and connection in gathering to create together. There’s something magical that happens when we share stories while our hands are busy with yarn, paint, or pencils – a special kind of healing emerges as we craft in community.
It’s this simple yet profound tradition that inspired Crafting in the Light.
One of my deepest joys is crocheting prayer shawls – a practice I discovered during the pandemic. At first, I thought they were simply shawls created for prayer. But then I learned the beautiful truth: they are shawls created with prayer, each stitch carrying blessings for the one who will receive this embrace of love.
In Crafting in the Light, our crafting becomes a form of prayer, our creativity a channel for Light, and our gatherings gentle reminders that we are never alone at this time.
Quick Questions:
What kind of crafting is welcome?
Anything that feels right to you! Knitting, crochet, drawing, mandalas, painting – if it brings you joy and can be done while we chat, it’s perfect.
Do you have to be an active crafter to join?
Nope! But I do encourage you to attune to something crafty-ish you’d like to engage with during our time together. It’s not something you have to be “good” at either. Just somethign that will delight you.
How’s it structured?
We’ll begin with a brief angel blessing, then move into casual crafting and conversation. Think cozy living room rather than classroom.
Can you teach me to crochet or knit?
No, that’s not my strong suit. The good news is there are tons of free videos available that will teach you the basics.
Will I have to talk?
Nope. Introverts are welcome. That said, we are delighted to hear from you if you feel guided to jump in the conversation.
In Crafting in the Light, we create a gentle space where friendship, creativity, and spirit naturally weave together.
