Long before I found Doreen Virtue’s angel cards, I used the Osho Zen Tarot deck to help bring forward messages from my angels and guides. One of the most powerful cards in the deck is the “No-Thingness” card. It is a completely black card with only the words “No-Thingness” written in white letters at the bottom. It represents the time in-between completion and rebirth. Osho writes:
“Being “in the gap” can be disorienting and even scary. Nothing to hold on to, no sense of direction, not even a hint of what choices and possibilities might lie ahead. But it was just this state of pure potential that existed before the universe was created.
All you can do now is to relax into this no-thingness…fall into this silence between the words…watch this gap between the outgoing and incoming breath. And treasure each empty moment of the experience. Something sacred is about to be born.”

This is one of the best descriptions that I’ve found that describes the energy that is present for many of us right now. It would seem as if almost everyone I speak with is in some form of transition. People are completing relationships, jobs, switching careers, releasing old patterns. People are letting go of the old and not really knowing what comes next. Many of us are “living the question” hoping that something wonderful awaits.
I’ve been experiencing this energy, too. I’ve been incubating, hibernating, feeling much like the caterpillar who has gone into the cocoon awaiting rebirth, colorful wings and all.
If you find yourself in this place, know that all is well. Your Higher Self is still navigating you towards your dreams, vibrating with remembering of your destiny.
This new energy is a good time to take good care of yourself, try new classes, explore your creativity, go for long walks in nature, make new friends and stretch beyond your comfort zone. Remember, a new you is being born. You are in the space of “becoming” and it is a potent and vibrant time in our ascension journey.
